How many images can I watermark at once?
Up to 50 images per batch. The browser processes them one at a time and yields control between images using requestAnimationFrame, so the page stays responsive even with bigger batches. If you drop more than 50 files, the tool keeps the first 50 and warns you. For larger jobs, run the batch in groups - settings are remembered between runs as long as you do not refresh the page.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The watermarking happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas 2D API. Source images are read locally, drawn onto a canvas, the watermark is composited on top, and the result is exported as a JPG blob ready for download. There is no server round trip and no telemetry - perfect for confidential brand or client images that should never leave your device.
Can I use both text and image watermarks?
You pick one mode per batch - either Text or Image. In Text mode you can choose font (Inter, Roboto, Pacifico, Arial, Georgia), color, size, and opacity. In Image mode you upload a PNG (transparency supported) or any image, and it is composited onto each photo. If you need both - a logo and a text line - combine them into one PNG with transparency in your design tool, then upload that as the watermark.
How does the "Tile across image" option work?
When tiling is enabled, the watermark is repeated diagonally across the whole image at roughly minus thirty degrees. This is the standard ownership pattern used by stock photography sites and is much harder to remove than a single corner mark. Tiling pairs well with lower opacity (around forty percent) so the watermark is visible without overpowering the photo.
What format are the outputs in?
All outputs are JPG at 0.85 quality, which gives a good balance between file size and visual fidelity. PNG output is intentionally not offered because watermarked photos are usually meant for sharing rather than further editing, and JPGs are dramatically smaller. If you need a different format, run the watermarked output through an image converter afterwards.
Can I compare the watermarked image against the original?
Yes - click any thumbnail in the result grid to flip between the watermarked version and the original. This makes it easy to confirm the watermark is positioned correctly and is not covering important parts of the image. Both versions are held in memory only for the current page session, so refreshing the page clears them.
