How do I rotate pages in a PDF?
Open your PDF in the rotator and click any page thumbnail to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. Click again for 180 and 270 degrees, or use the dropdown to set an exact angle. What is the difference between 90, 180 and 270 degree rotations?
A 90 degree rotation turns the page a quarter turn clockwise, which fixes a page that was scanned in landscape when it should have been portrait. 180 degrees flips the page upside down, useful for documents fed into a scanner the wrong way. 270 degrees, equivalent to 90 degrees counter clockwise, corrects pages that were rotated the other way. The rotator only changes the page orientation flag in the PDF, so the underlying content stays untouched.
Can I rotate just specific pages and leave the rest alone?
Yes. Click only the thumbnails you want to rotate, or use the range input to type something like 2, 5, 8-12. Other pages stay exactly as they were. This is the typical scenario when one or two pages in a long PDF were scanned the wrong way around. Will rotating pages reduce image quality?

Why does my rotated PDF look correct on screen but print sideways?
Older printer drivers sometimes ignore the rotation flag and print the raw page orientation. To work around this, open the print dialog and pick the auto rotate or fit to page option. If that does not help, save the PDF, then run it through the rotator a second time and choose the bake in rotation option, which physically rotates the page contents. The result will print correctly on every device.
